Fraser Valley Elementary Receives Colorado John Irwin Schools of Excellence Award and the Governor's Distinguished Improvement Award
2015-16 Colorado School Performance Frameworks were released to the public this past week. The school performance frameworks are based on FVE student academic growth and achievement on the annual PARCC/ CMAS assessments. In Reading, Writing, Math and Science.

Fraser Valley Elementary was awarded for 2015-16

Governor’s Distinguished Improvement Award for the fourth consecutive year. 2012-2016. The Governor’s distinguished Improvement Award is given to schools that “exceed” expectations on the indicator related to longitudinal academic growth and “meet or exceed” expectations on the indicator related to academic growth gaps.

John Irwin School of Excellence for 2015-16. The John Irwin awards are given to schools that demonstrate excellent academic achievement. On the three-year school performance framework that is used by the state to evaluate schools, these schools “exceed” expectations on the academic achievement indicator.

Congratulations to all of the hard work of the teachers, students, staff and parent volunteers that have helped make these awards possible. It is through this collaboration and hard work that our students grow and achieve at a high level.
